Putting on the event is a consummate challenge. The club is a non profit making organisation run by volunteers giving as much voluntary help as they can. To make the event happen a wide range of people, male/female, young/old, club members/non members, riders/non riders, etc are needed. They give their time and skills to not only fix fencing around the motocross track but take on other jobs around Canada Heights that ensures not only does this meeting take place but the site and track is fighting fit for all the events throughout the year. Thus all help from anyone is greatly appreciated.
All working parties start around 10:00am and usually carry on to dusk. We don’t clock in or out, so part of a day is better than nothing at all.
The Club will supply all workers with free hot and cold drinks during the day plus food for lunch.
It will be useful to know in advance which working parties you will attend, so we can ensure there is enough food to go round. However, there will always be extra for those who come without letting us know!
