Report
By Alan Clarke (C of C)
Over 100 competitors of varying abilities and skill levels road the ups and downs of Canada Heights for a very successful Beginners and Wobblers trial on Sunday. 10 sections of varying length and severity, featuring two routes, were laid out around the estate providing a lap length of approximately 2 miles. The objective being to enable new and returning riders to experience trials in a relaxed environment and the brilliant sunshine aided this. Amongst the competitors were 19 youths, 4 ladies, 3 sidecar crews and countless dads shepherding their flock around. A wide array of bikes were ridden too; from pre war rigids to the latest bikes, plus a fair few trail and enduro motorcycles. A large number of spectators where treated to some spectacular spirited attempts at the relatively tame sections but at the end of the day everyone wanted to know when the next one was, and it is once again at Canada Heights on the 15th November.
