Report

By Jamie Clarke

This year was the third year that the Club has run a Beginners and Wobblers trial and it was once again a success. Despite the weatherman's prediction of the tail end of a hurricane arriving over us the rain was only a brief bit of drizzle. 65 riders turned out for the 10 sections dotted around Canada Heights. There were two routes, a beginner's route and a wobbler's route that was just below "normal" novice status. The 10 sections utilised every corner and terrain type of Canada Heights and gave the riders a great breadth of experience. Riders were riding modern bikes and twinshocks as well as a several trail riders. A great event and the weather held off all lead to a great day. On a personal note I must thank Reg Playfoot for sponsoring my ride with a trials bike, I had a great time.
