Sidcup 30 Trial - 2006

Sunday 21st May 2006

The 5th Sidcup 30 Trial : A super-tough trial for the best solo Trials riders and the top Schoolboy riders - an "Open" permit

***CANCELLED***

The Sidcup and District Motor Cycle Club regrets that it has to cancel the 2006 Sidcup Thirty Trial, our super-tough trial for solo Experts only, scheduled for this Sunday, 21st May.

By the closing date only 15 riders had entered, which is clearly no where near enough to make the event financial viable, or enjoyable for riders, officials, observers or spectators.

The reason could be a clash with the Novogar series round on Dartmoor.  All riders enjoyed the 2005 Thirty, so we don't think dissatisfaction with the event was the cause.  The fifteen who entered this year have been notified of the cancellation.

Unfortunately the crowded 2006 calendar does not allow us to reschedule the Thirty for later in the year, but we have every intention of running a Thirty in 2007.

I would be obliged if you would pass this message on to anyone you think may have been going on Sunday as a spectator.
