Its been some time since I've bothered to put pen to paper, well actually finger to keyboard o well you have to make the effort to keep our trials scene alive!! Don't you!
The first for me to enter under the white flag of expert b but it wasn't that hard was it! Plummy. As usual was looking the right poser for the pictures and well done old man you won the class.. Only by 8 marks mate, some geezer called fleety was right behind you but what happened to the rest???
Gazza you were miles behind. Very unusual for you mate. And Mr Ely what Happened to you 2? As for the Mote posse they had obviously lost the plot, what can I say!!! LOOSERS.
Only joking boys.
You should have fitted a new tyre just like me. And the handlebars did make the difference not being the bent ones that i have ridden with for the past year or so.
Getting round to section whatever! Was the log steps which im sure everyone has ridden untold times in every evening trial that Sidcup has run and cleaned every time. was my biggest nightmare. Five every lap was not good and had me going over the handlebars every time!!!OUCH. it was painful and peeved me off knowing that I could normally clean this bloody obstacle. Thankfully everyone else cocked it up to, so I heard from my contacts.
Lee was off by half time due to a lack of maintenance to his beloved scorpa and was having trouble revving out..you need to strip that carb more often, if i had known you was dropping out and being there was only three experts i reckon i could have chased that Simmons cup, Was riding most of the white route anyway!
Well done goes to Nicky Dowland for his win in the experts and claiming the Simmoms cup. and also Andy Hogg for his win over EX bexleyheath member Cliff Barnett in the inters class. AV IT!! Even with me out the class cliffy boy still cant win the inters, come on pale I only dropped out to give you a chance. Smile.
Any way what a brilliant trial laid out by Mr Nutbrown and Sidcup Posse. Thanks goes to Dick and all the marshals ect.. Cheers boys c u at the next event, which manages to keep me, awake till the end!! (very rare nowdays).
O yeah and last but not least!!!Thanks mum for marshalling on section one.
See ya. Chow.
