| 05/02/2009 | 2009 Early Birds (Maxxis British MX Championship Rd1) : A quick update for you all. Work parties are progressing and more help is always welcome (we're up there every weekend) - I've taken some photos and I'll try and throw a gallery or blog together for them). For those that don't fancy the cold, we're holding two promotional days in local shopping centres the weekend before so if you fancy a day indoors helping there is a job for you. On the day we're going to use our new field over the back for car parking, and thus we've invested heavily in rebuilding one of our roads and thus will need a bit of help car parking/directing traffic (gives you free entry and finishes in time for the main races). Entries are coming in (they are handled by the ACU until the last week so contact them for details), once they are closed (mid Feb) we'll get you a list. Letters have been sent out to our databases of helpers and marshals, but if you haven't got one get in touch and we'll sort you out. Trade stand letters have gone out, again if we've missed you get in touch. I think that cover the basics and i'll try and keep everyone updated with what's going on - Jamie. | 19/01/2009 | SEMX : Attention all local motocross riders who ride our centre meetings. Over on the SEMX website, 2008 permanent number holders are running out of time to renew "their" number. More importantly for 2009, SEMX is going to use transponders, and riders can apply now for discounted transponders - the longer you leave it the higher the price will become. Check the SEMX website for all the details of the transponder scheme, the permanent number scheme and 2009 centre mx dates. |

The Sidcup & District Motor Cycle Club is a non-profit making organisation that runs motorcycle events for Auto Cycle Union (ACU) members. The Sidcup & District MCC is affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union via the South Eastern Centre ACU. The Club is also a member of: - The South Eastern Centre Enduro Combine, The South Eastern Centre Motocross Combine, and The South Eastern Centre Trials Combine, and the North Kent Trials Combine.
