Work around the Containers 2003
Photos by Jamie Clarke
We've put some "type one" on the muddy run up to the top container.
UPDATE (02/03/02) : All done
To keep the wind out while we eat our legendary BBQ's, we ahve got some industrial "curtains".
Tony Day (centre) and mate (left) have been fitting them. Wlly Day is on the right.
Edging has been placed to stop the water running in.
The mud out the front has been scraped off....
.... and "tpye one" has gone in its place.
Pete Edwards (foreground) and Reg Playfoot (background) put the sleepers in, to hold the earth back.
Ray and Jean Barber (left) walk by the new edging.
UPDATE (09/03/02) : Rails added.
Rails apinted by Harry Clarke
Harry and Joyce Clarke's parking space (previsouly very muddy due to their constant attendance) has the "type one" treatment with the leftover "type one".
A soakaway is constructed for water off the the container roofs - this whole is about 2 meters (6ft) deep!
