Work around Canada Heights
This page is a brief summary of the work we have carried out to the facilities. Photos from Jamie Clarke.
Bike Park
Pete Edwards proposed the great idea that we have no where for road bikes to park (without sinking) - So why not make one. So we are. It will have a solid "type one" base with scaffolding poles round the outside so bikes can be padlocked to it.

UPDATE (02/03/02) : The railing has now been added.
Bridges
Constructed in the run up to the cancelled Early Birds of 2001 (due to Foot and Mouth). This Bridge over the mud and water of Derek's Dive (track on left). It is called Brooks Bridge, due to the donation of the wood by Alan Brook.
Bird Boxes
Not ion 2002 but way back in 2001, Harry Clarke produced a lot of Bird Boxes that are now all over Canada Heights. There are two "models", the green one pictured here (if you look closely its in the centre of the picture) and a silver birch version.
Painting
The Blue Container that arrived last year is now no longer blue.
The New entrance sign that was once white has been painted.
The first aid hut has also been painted.
Taj Mahal
The formally wooded roof of the press room / Taj Mahal that was rotting away has now been replaced. At the time of the photo we we are waiting for the rain to stop so we could paint it.
Here is the front of the Taj Mahal, now all green, with our ex BR chair and slightly rotten picnic table.
Toilet Base
The Toilets are now on some hard standing instead of a mud pit.
Trials Start
The trials riders had a new start built way back in 2001.
Water
Water was installed back in 2001 and we try to have it on at most meetings (motocrosses and enduros). There is a standpipe in the Orchard and by the start line.
